Every Thursday from 7 PM - 9 PM No Charge Social Fibreists: Our day time Sit n Knit Wednesdays 1-3 . No Charge.. Monday Evening Help All Summer Long! Every Monday evening 7 PM to 9 PM . $12.50 per class or pre-pay $40 for 4 classes. There will be a small lesson every class. New students always welcome. Please call and sign up. Spring Classes are March 29th, April 12th & 26th, May 10th & 31st, June 14th & 28th Classes Classes will resume in October 2010. Private or Semi Private Classes can still be booked for $20/hour. Please call the shop to arrange. Year Round Classes **= offered currently Beginner Basics- Knitting Bring 5mm knitting needles Beginner Socks: $25 plus kit Your first sock on double pointed needles. Learn the basic construction of socks while knitting a baby sock. Building on the Basics Purling, Increasing, Decreasing and more if time permits
Bring 5mm knitting needles Children's Knitting and Fibre Arts: These classes will be offered on the last Saturday of each Month from 9 AM - 10:30AM. Each class will have some knitting and another fiber craft as well. Your child can be signed up for 1 or all classes. Best for children 7 years and up. Cost is $10 per class plus the cost of any supplies. East Coast Rug Hooking Workshop Looking for a way to use up your bits and bobs of yarns, fabric leftovers, ribbons and other "scraps"? Class will cover picking up stitches, lace knitting and I-cord cast off. $25 plus kit with pattern(approx.$18) .Toe Up Socks : Learn to knit Toe up on Magic Loop Triangle Shawl : Start your own Striation Triangular Shawl with Martina. The class will concentrate on the skills that you need to wrap your head and fingers around working a neck down double triangle.
